Reflexology for Fertility, Pregnancy and Beyond

Support when you need it most

Reflexology is a holistic therapy which aims to bring balance to the body. By stimulating different areas of the feet, which act as a sort of “map” to the rest of the body, reflexology supports the various body systems, reducing many common ailments experienced during pregnancy.

Whether you are looking for a once off treatment to promote relaxation or more on-going support to help alleviate a particular concern, reflexology treatments are always tailored to your unique needs. There is also some research showing those who receive regular reflexology treatments have shorter labours!

Common issues reflexology can help with:

  • Morning sickness, nausea and more extreme forms of pregnancy sickness like hyperemesis gravidarum

  • Pelvic girdle pain (symphysis pubis pain)

  • Insomnia

  • Lower back ache

  • Acid reflux and other digestive upset

  • Headaches

  • Constipation

  • Depression, anxiety and overwhelm

  • Swelling

  • Carpal tunnel syndrome

  • Hormone support

  • Preparing the body for labour (end of pregnancy support)

Sessions are an hour, with each beginning with a brief consultation followed by the hands-on treatment. All treatments take place at the Urban Co-Op located in Limerick, €60/treatment.
